The entire lineup for next year’s Laneway Festival has been revealed early, as a result of a big gaffe by the festival’s media partner Pedestrian, which briefly revealed the lineup on its page this morning before quickly taking it down, Music Feeds reports.

Previously revealed acts Mac DeMarco and Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals are indeed on the Laneway Festival 2018 bill, and will be joined by names like Father John Misty, Bonobo, The Internet, The War On Drugs, TOKiMONSTA, Wolf Alice and BADBADNOTGOOD.

With the lineup originally due to be announced tomorrow morning (September 12), it’s now all out in the open, and the festival has officially announced the lineup itself and dropped its announcement video below.

Laneway Festival 2018 will hit Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Fremantle in February next year, and you can check out the full lineup and ticketing details below, with a Visa presale starting on Wednesday the 13th, and general sale next Monday the 18th.

The 2017 Laneway Festival was a huge success, despite rapper Young Thug being pushed from the lineup at the last minute to be replaced (in a manner of speaking) by Dune Rats.

The festival also partnered with Melbourne band Camp Cope and their ItTakesOne initiative to help to minimise the harm caused by assaults and abuse at gigs, by setting up a 1800 LANEWAY emergency support line for anybody who has encountered violence of any kind at the festival.

Check out the full lineup and hastily-dropped official announcement vid below, and start getting excited for next February.
