History was made earlier this week when it was reported that Noel and Liam Gallagher had buried a decade-long hatchet, embracing the festive season and calling a brotherly ‘truce’. Liam took to Twitter to announce that the bickering two were ‘all good’ and Noel had ‘reached out’ to him after years of insults and verbal fisticuffs.

With this revelation piking the hopes of Oasis fans, in a recent interview with the Age, Liam suggested the likelihood of reunion isn’t any higher than it was before.

When asked about the possibility of this happening, “God no, no. Oasis isn’t getting back together, not at all. I’m doing my thing, [Noel’s] doing his thing and that is the end of it.”

He wasn’t even aware of the impact his tweets had revealing the said ‘truce’ amongst the brothers had on the world, “I don’t look at the internet, what’s it saying then? About a reunion and that?” he said, adding: “All is good in my neck of the woods.”

So it looks like there’ll be no more compilation videos to procrastinate with, showcasing best moments of the brother’s feud or an Oasis reunion, according to Liam, “I’ve called a truce on it and he’s called a truce on it and no more slagging.”
