It seems that Liam Gallagher is once again struck by the vocal issues that have plagued his career, no doubt as a result of all the cigarettes and alcohol (as well as his unorthodox mic technique), with the former Oasis frontman abandoning his big Lollapalooza set after just 20 minutes.

As Billboard reports, his set kicked off at 4:30pm, but at 4:50 Gallagher left the stage after just four songs, giving no explanation to the crowd at the time, and leaving them pretty disappointed.

He did take to Twitter afterwards, however, to apologise for the walk-off, blaming a “difficult” gig the night before.

However, as Billboard notes, at least one punter reckons they were the reason for his meltdown instead, as they proudly held aloft a sign proclaiming “I <3 U Noel”.

Liam is currently touring in an effort to promote his debut solo album, As You Were, which is set for release on October 6.
