Soon you will be able to trace time with the help of the David Bowie Freelancer, a Swiss timepiece from Raymond Weil that “celebrates the legendary icon’s musicality, style and unmatched innovation.”

The watch will be limited to 3,000 pieces, and features Bowie iconography on the front, and a classic 1974 Terry O’Neill photograph on the sapphire case-back.

“I’ve always felt that there was a real synergy behind great timepieces and photography”, O’Neill explains. “The precision of keeping time is akin to a photographer needing to know the exact moment to capture an iconic image. As a watch collector myself, this RAYMOND WEIL collaboration is a wonderful project to be affiliated with.

“Their watches are a thing of beauty. I’m thrilled they’ve selected to pay tribute to David Bowie in such a way and I’m honoured to be a part of it.”

The David Bowie Freelancer will be released later in the year.
