Warrant are back on the scene and hoping to swing with your daughter (or your mum) like they did during the glory days of old, when they were selling millions of records packed with tales of Sunset Strip excess.

‘Louder Harder Faster’ is the title track from their new album, out on Friday – and judging by the track the guys certainly haven’t matured over the past three decades – thank Christ.

Unfortunately the band’s original vocalist, Jani Lane died in 2011, but his replacement, Robert Mason, can more than hold his own. The rest of the original lineup is intact, with the new record produced by Foreigner bassist Jeff Pilson.

“When we started this project over two years ago, we wanted to bring the listener back to the days of sitting in the living room and cranking up a record from start to finish,” says bassist Dixon. “Making full records seems to be a lost art, we hope in some small way that this album helps people find that art again.”
