Fiona Apple is responsible for some of the most searing and visceral songs in the popular music canon, so it is no surprise that she has taken a few musical shots at reality-TV star Donald Trump.

First there was last year’s biting Christmas song ‘Trump’s Nuts Roasting On An Open Fire’ (sample lyric: “Everybody knows some money and entitlement can help to make the season white. Mothers of color with their kids out of sight will find it hard to sleep at night.”).

Now Apple has shared what is basically a protest chant, composed with Michael Whalen for the Women’s March on Washington, which is set to take place on Saturday – the day after Trump’s inauguration, assuming he isn’t assassinated in the next few days, of course.

The lyrics are simple, but effective: “We don’t want your tiny hands, anywhere near our underpants.”
