After months of anticipation and some mind-bending singles, FKA twigs has surprised fans by suddenly unveiling her new EP, titled M3LL155X, complete with a warped short film directed by the cross-genre queen herself.

The short film is in fact four connected film pieces made for the tracks ‘Figure 8’, ‘I’m Your Doll’, ‘In Time’, and ‘Glass & Patron’, with the project centred on the idea of feeling pregnant with pain, birthing creativity, and liberation.

M3LL155X continues the holistic creative process FKA twigs undertook on her previous EP releases, with videos forming an integral part of the release. However, M3LL155X sees the singer at her most ambitious, creating her most complete work to date.

The M3LL155X EP, which comes complete with artwork from previous collaborator Matthew Stone, is available to stream and download now and will be available on 12” vinyl. You can stream the EP for yourself via Spotify below.
