You’ve got to hand it to the resilient frontman and mastermind behind The Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan, the man can definitely pen a tune, and his fresh single with the band is no exception.

The new song is heavily laden with the Pumpkins’ booming, layered guitar effects with the interesting addition of tiptoeing synths that drive the 3-minute track. Corgan’s distinct vocal delivery has not faltered in his lengthy career, the frontman eerily whining “it goes and goes” just like he had in the golden days of the ’90s.

‘Tiberius’ is the latest tune to fall from the band’s forthcoming record Monuments To An Elegy which has seen the fairly lacklustre ‘Being Beige’ and the far more impressive, ‘One And All’.
