We thought that with Prince’s untimely passing a year ago, we’d finally heard all the outrageous song titles the man had to offer, but ‘Electric Intercourse’ — an unreleased track which was recorded during the Purple Rain sessions — proves this assumption to be very incorrect.

The recording’s existence comes as a shock to Prince scholars, who previously assumed the only known version of this was an oft-bootlegged live one captured in 1983 in Minneapolis.

The song contains some of Prince’s most impressive falsetto, which is also a treat. Enjoy the recording, below – it’s mildly NSFW but if you get in trouble for blasting Prince jams in 2017 then nothing is sacred.
