Following her stunning homecoming performance at Splendour In The Grass, the inimitable Meg Mac has now unveiled her latest single, ‘Never Be’, before she makes her way back over to the United States where a serious buzz is beginning to form around this talented young vocalist.

‘Never Be’ is another powerful musical statement from the Melbourne singer, whose darkly soulful vocals first cocked ears with her unforgettable cover of ‘Grandma’s Hands’. Mac’s latest single sees her marrying her flawless vocals with sparse keys and sprinting piano.

The track sees Mac teaming up with local production favourite M-Phazes, whose talents behind the mixing desk have been sought out by the likes of Eminem, Eskimo Joe, Kimbra, Bliss n Eso, and Illy, just to name a few.

Having spent most of the year in the US, Meg Mac has been working hard on her forthcoming album and recently completed a coast-to-coast North American tour supporting neo-soul legend D’Angelo, who handpicked the singer to open for him following her much talked-about second appearance at SXSW
