There were lots of winners to come out of this year’s ARIA Awards. Some were literal winners, like Tame Impala who nabbed a swarm of awards, others were just legends who made a lasting impression, like that guy who stepped out of an egg.

But Australian soul powerhouse Meg Mac just won all the ARIAs with a Facebook post she put up earlier this week, giving fans a peek into what went on behind the scenes of her ARIA Awards appearance.

“This was the first place I wore my dress, the first stop on my way to the ARIAs was Priceline because I forgot about earrings,” she wrote on Facebook, accompanying the post with a photo of her standing seventh in the queue at Priceline.

“It was very obviously my first time at the awards, I didn’t really understand the red carpet rules of posing in front of the photo wall. So there are probably no photos of me on the red carpet!”

“I wore Maticevski dress (thank you ♥) and had a cute Christian Louboutin bag (thank you ♥) Oh and of course my Priceline earrings.. I put some photos on my instagram if you want to look… Annnnd it turned out to be a good night.” Too good – check out the post below.
