Rose Tattoo’s front man Angry Anderson has appeared in the most recent NSW Liberal campaign ads, putting in his 2 cents worth about the election and the ALP. The working-class Australian rock legend criticises Julia Gillard for apparently not following through on her promise for a Parramatta- Epping railway line in Sydney, as well as racking up too much debt.

In one of the ads the opening slogan reads “If you’re thinking of voting for the Greens, listen to Angry Anderson”. How bizarre. Here at Tone Deaf HQ, we’re looking forward to the day Angry runs for parliament. Maybe a peoples’ forum with Peter Garrett? Now that’s something we would all vote for.
