It appears that friction is high within southern US rockers Kings Of Leon as the group was forced to abandon a concert in Dallas, Texas after frontman Caleb walked off stage after just a few songs and never returned.

“My voice is completely 100 per cent wrong, I’m sorry,” he told the audience. “Do you know what? I’m going to drink some beer and I’m going to drink some tequila and I’m going to have a good time, and for the record I’m not drunk, I’m just f**king hot… I’m gonna go backstage for a second. I’m gonna vomit, I’m gonna drink a beer and I’m gonna come back out here and I’m gonna play three more songs.”

Caleb never reappeared and it was up to the rest of the band to apologize to the clearly agitated crowd. Jared Followil, Caleb’s brother and bandmate returned to the stage telling the audience “I know you guys f-king hate us. It’s really not our fault. We will be back as soon as possible. F-king hate Caleb, not us.”

Jared jumped onto Twitter shortly after the incident and wrote “I know you guys aren’t stupid. I can’t lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.” The band also cancelled a performance the following night in Houston, Texas.

This isn’t the first time Kings Of Leon have quit a show midway through. In July last year they cancelled a show in St Louis, Missouri after a pigeon shat in Jared’s mouth.
