Following the release earlier this year of the bands third studio album, Young Heart, the Blanche DuBois proud to announce upcoming national
tour dates which will see the Perth sisters playing all capital cities for the first time since 2008.
To coincide with the tour, the band are also releasing the second single from Young Heart, the bubbly ‘The Sum Of My Parts.’
“This is probably one of the most uplifting songs on the record,” says guitarist/singer Adriana Begovich. “But, ironically, I wrote it when I was down in the dumps over love! It was one of those songs that really took shape in the studio – and we had a lot of fun creating some special piano loops and singing a whole bunch of ‘do-do-do’s’ throughout. It’s definitely got an upbeat vibe which is intended to mask the
fact that it’s a sad song about my shitty love life!”
The purveyors of sweet acoustic pop, with a tinge of alt-country and a whole lot of heart, will also have a special support act lined up for each capital city around the country across a five-date tour from Melbourne to Perth.
