It might not have a confirmed line-up yet, but dates for Parklife 2012 are locked in and ready to put into your diary.

Not only that but the festival has relocated its Sydney home, moving from the muddy Kippax Lake site to the suitably verdant Centennial Park. In fact, the Sydney park-land was actually the original site for Parklife back in its early days.

The new location encompasses Loch Ave South and Brazilian Fields and has beautiful rolling slopes dotted with Moreton Bay figs and a variety of other trees.

Fuzzy Director John Wall is thrilled to be moving Parklife Sydney to this unique location in 2012. “Parklife started its life deep inside Centennial Park and while Kippax lake has been a great venue for the last 8 years,” shares Wall, “we’ve been itching to move back inside the Park for a while, so we’re very excited not only to be there but right next to the original Parklife 2000 venue.”

Parklife’s picturesque new Sydney home will excite even the most veteran of festival fans as it is a first for the spot.  “It’s a layout that hasn’t been used for a festival before,” Wall enthuses, “and we think everyone will really love it.”

Though promoters have yet to announce the bill for the national music festival, you can view the dates below and start saving your biscuits for tickets.
