Kate Martin is a musician who doesn’t like to stay in one place, musically, creatively or geographically.

After gaining national attention for her debut album, the Townsville-born songstress has been travelling across Australia playing, writing and recording new music. Like her nomadic lifestyle, Kate’s music is constantly moving and changing.

Her eclectic compositions embrace many varied styles of music from atmospheric dream-pop ballads, to anthemic orchestral arrangements to catchy folk pop numbers.

Kate has now relocated to Melbourne where her music will continue to evolve and  first hometown gigs in Melbourne will a residency on Tuesdays at the Fitzroy Workers Club throughout November.
