Now in its 8th year, Between Bays is firmly established as Mornington Peninsula’s best music festival on the summer calendar and rain or shine, it’s not to be missed!
In 2013, Between the Bays moves into the ‘Twilight Zone’ with gates opening at 4pm and the festival running into the evening. Twilight is such a beautiful atmosphere at Between the Bays. It is a time to grab some gourmet food, a wine and sit back and relax with friends and enjoy the music.

This year headlining Between The Bays will be the legendary Hoodoo Gurus, who by any measure are one of Australia’s greatest, best-loved and most enduring rock bands of all time! After an extraordinary 30 years playing those hits we ALL love, the Gurus will be bring those classic tracks to Between the Bays for one very special night in February on the Peninsula.

The one and only, James Reyne has been a big supporter of Between the Bays since it’s inception so it’s no surprise and with great excitement that we welcome James back to the stage for his third BTB performance in 2013. With his swag of Australian classic tracks and a new album release this year, James and band will be performing all his hits and some rockin new tunes as well.

Aussie country music icon Troy Cassar-Daley will be joining the Between the Bays line up for the first time. Recognised as one of Australia’s most respected and superlative singer/songwriters, Troy Cassar-Daley will be charming audiences with songs from his latest record ‘Home’ which has been nominated for ARIA 2012 Country Album of the Year.

Between the Bays began back in 2006, and is a much-loved day out for all to enjoy. Throughout the years, Between the Bays has offered music lovers on the Mornington Peninsula, and wider parts of Melbourne, a festival option that is safe and relaxed, has a great range of local gourmet food, wine and beer, is inexpensive and has an all inclusive community feel.

Between the Bays continues to provide a great range of children’s activities, as well as a ‘world class’ selection of artists that take to the stage during the afternoon. There will be a plentiful range of food and wine options, or feel free to pack a gourmet picnic and spread out on the lawn.

Between the Bays Music Festival is held on a rural property at the end of Rickards Road in Moorooduc, Mornington Peninsula. There are 35 beautiful acres to spread out in and enjoy the day, nestled ‘Between the Bays’ and just five minutes from Mornington. It is a beautiful location.
