Less Than Jake Soundwave 2014 Sidewaves have been announced, in the latest of a series of massive triple headlining shows from Soundwave-billed acts.

Less Than Jake will play headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney, joined by fellow Soundwave 2014 acts Bowling For Soup and Zebrahead, adding to the growing list of 2014 Sidewaves that includes tripe-bill shows from Jimmy Eat WorldMegadeth and Mastodon, plus the swathe of perviously announced 2014 Sidewaves from last week.

Leading the pop punk trifecta is Less Than Jake, a band with over 20 years’ experience in rallying live shows charged with hijinks and passionate sing-alongs to their popular catalogue which expanded with the addition of their latest passionate release, last year’s See The Light.

Joining the ska-punk five-piece for their Soundwave 2014 Sidewaves is fellow fun-loving Americans, Bowling For Soup, who’ll be popping their Soundwave cherry next month. Drawing from their two decade, twelve-album strong discography – including last year’s Lunch.Drunk.Love – Bowling For Soup deliver a show chock full of hits, hooks, and high energy.

Rounding out the bill is Orange County’s Zebrahead, who have sold over 2 million albums worldwide and toured the globe nonstop. Following the release of 2013’s Call Your Friends, they are back in Australia again and ready to blow fans away in Sydney and Melbourne for just two shows only!

The Less Than Jake, Bowling For Soup, and Zebrahead Sidewaves join the previously announced co-headline shows from Jimmy Eat World, Panic! At The Disco, with Alkaline TrioMastodon, Baroness, and Gojira, as well as Rob Zombie & Korn, and Alter Bridge & Living Colour, plus Megadeth, Volbeat, and Newsted. Other headline Soundwave 2014 artists playing sideshows include Placebo and Stone Temple Pilots (featuring Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington).

The news also follows on from the public dispute between Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah and Sevendust, after the later cancelled on their festival appearance only for the Soundwave 2014 lineup to grow with a third batch of bands earlier this month.

The addition of Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, industrial rock stalwarts Filter, I Killed The Prom Queen, DARKC3LL, and four more heavy acts bringing the total Soundwave 2014 tally to whopping 95 bands, including festival headliners Green Day and Avenged Sevenfold.
