Off the back of the announcement this morning that Bon Iver would be playing Golden Plains #6 in March next year comes news of an 8 date national tour. Following a sold-out tour back in 2009, the band returns as a 9-piece to give audiences the opportunity to see the show in some of Australia’s most iconic venues; the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Thebarton Theatre, Sydney Opera House, Red Hill Auditorium, Meredith Supernatural Ampitheatre and Tivoli Theatre.
Bon Iver follows lightly in the footsteps of 2008’s ethereal and brooding debut, For Emma, Forever Ago; and if reviews from international shows are anything to go by, the live interpretation is a subtle yet powerful thing, not to be missed.
