The Notorious B.I.G.’s son has announced plans to drop a rap album later this year.

He is keeping things in the family, working with his half-brother, Jahad on the as-yet-untitled project.

Speaking to the Evening Standard, Christopher Wallace Jr. is more than aware of the high expectations, and the looming legacy of his father.

“At a young age I always knew I wanted to do music, it was inevitable. My family have always had my back, whatever I’ve wanted to do they’ve supported. They were always giving me advice on what to do and how to go about things.”

This isn’t the first time Wallace has entered the spotlight in such a fashion, playing his father in the 2009 biopic Notorious. Check out the trailer for it, below.
