One of Australia’s favourite indie rock bands Boy & Bear are gearing up to unveil their third studio album, Limit of Love, set for release Oct 9th.

Ahead of the record release, the guys teamed up with the very talented crew from film production company Oh Yeah Wow (Gotye/ Clubfeet (that video One Direction ripped off)/ Husky/ The Paper Kites) to create a clip for their freshest single ‘Walk The Wire’.

Lead by directors Darcy Prendergast and Josh Thomas, the crew have produced arguably their most memorable music video to date. Taking the piss out of digitally created films like The Hobbit, they’re created a hellishly entertaining ride that de evolves into utter insanity.

“We wanted to create a piece that started out earnestly; something that aligned with their pre established look & feel, and then violently subvert it on the turn of the chorus wrenching it down a raucous rabbit hole and not letting our audience up for air” said Darcy Prendergast.

“Every time Josh and I sent through a work in progress, we honestly just kind of expected them to politely express their confusion & hatred for the clip, but they never did to their credit. There aren’t too many acts on Australian soil, much less folk acts that would sign up for something as bat shit crazy as this”

Now that you’ve seen the final product, Oh Yeah Wow and Boy & Bear have given us a sneak peek inside the creation of the clip which you can check out below.
