The Parklife 2012 lineup has been leaking faster than the Titanic over the last week, but just in case there are a few acts we haven’t heard are on the Parklife lineup they’ll be announcing it in full on Tuesday 19th June at 8am.

A teaser video has also been released, along with 2012’s tagline for the festival – Hibernation Ends Here – and the soundtrack is provided by Passion Pit, which we think is pretty good indication we’ll be seeing the Amercian electro group here this September and October.

The last time Passion Pit were here in Australia was for Splendour In The Grass in 2010, and the group are due to release their sophomore record Gossamer at the end of July – a nice lead-in for the festival.

Other acts either leaked or strongly rumoured to be on the Parklife 2012 lineup include both ‘live dubstep’ act Modestep and drum n bass selector DJ Fresh, British MC Labrinth, Art Department, and synthpop duo Chairlift.

The news comes off the back of a flurry of Parklife related news over the last fortnight, kicked off by the announcement of the official dates for the events this year and the venues, including a new home in Sydney, moving from the muddy Kippax Lake site to the suitably verdant Centennial Park – the original site for Parklife back in its early days.

Fuzzy Director John Wall is thrilled to be moving Parklife Sydney to this unique location in 2012. “Parklife started its life deep inside Centennial Park and while Kippax lake has been a great venue for the last 8 years,” shares Wall, “we’ve been itching to move back inside the Park for a while, so we’re very excited not only to be there but right next to the original Parklife 2000 venue.”

You can watch the slight-NSFW promo video below. Check back for the official lineup announcement here at 8am on 19th June.
