Whilst belting karaoke renditions of your favourite tracks in your bedroom, the dream of one day performing them with your hero always seems to pop up. Although you might not have the chops, you’ve got the passion – all you need is the perfect opportunity.

For Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, there’s no denying he’s got the chops and plenty of resources at his disposal to put his teenage bedroom rock-out sessions into action. At an intimate gig showcasing the recently reformed supergroup featuring members of Muse and Miles Kennedy of The Last Shadow Puppets, who go by the name Dr. Pepper’s Jaded Hearts Club Band, a very special guest took to round off the already stacked lineup of musicians.

The group invited none other than Sir. Paul McCartney on stage to perform ‘Helter Skelter’, the track that supposedly acted as the catalyst for punk and metal featuring The Beatles’ classic 1968 LP The White Album.

Bellamy took to Instagram to upload footage of the legendary jam sesh, baring his fanboy core. The footage shows  Bellamy on bass, Howard on drums and McCartney sharing lead vocal duties. Check it out below:
