For anyone who loves their live music but isn’t exactly flush with cash (and let’s be honest, the two often go hand in hand), Sydney is about to get its own ‘pay what you can’ music festival.
Volumes Festival, a one-day live music extravaganza taking place across multiple stages at three Sydney venues, is back for 2017, bringing a bunch of great Aussie talent spanning indie, rock, electronica and more to the Oxford Art Factory, The Cliff Dive and Brighton Up Bar on Saturday August 19.
Better yet, early-bird tickets leave it up to you to name your price, although we’d say don’t be too stingy considering the names on the lineup below.
The full list of names includes Jonti, Gold Class, Baro, The Ocean Party, Retiree, Fortunes., Lucy Cliche, Orion, World Champion, Mezko, RVG, Wallace, Ara Koufax, Willaris. K, Sam Weston, Love Deluxe, Body Type, HATCHIE, Bus Vipers, The Goods, Genesis Owusu, Moaning Lisa, Party Dozen, GAUCI, Clypso, Tru, La Sape, Future Classic DJs, DCR DJs and Noisey DJs, with more to be announced.
