Hailing from Auckland, NZ five piece Yukon Era are today premiering their debut, self titled EP. Overflowing with rhythmically and melodically diverse tunes that reference a garage rock sound but push genre boundaries it’s definitely a release that’s set to capture a whole lot of new fans.

Listening to their incredibly well crafted release it’s surprising to discover that four out of five members still in high school. If that wasn’t impressive enough the guys have also supported big name acts including Mac Demarco, Viet Cong, METZ, and Mini Mansions in the past three months!

In celebration of this killer five track release the boys will soon embark on a short tour of the North Island, including stops in Palmerston North, Wellington, and two hometown shows in Auckland. Cehck out the EP below and if you like what you’re hearing pop by the band’s Facebook page or pick up a copy of the EP via Bandcamp.
