Having received rave reviews for her latest single, ‘Once’, the first cut from her eagerly anticipated sophomore album, Blastoma, the talented Ngaiire has now unveiled the accompanying music video, featuring a who’s who of the Sydney indie music scene.
In the singer’s own words, ‘Once’ is about “elation” and looks at “completely surrendering to a moment and being ok with it. Letting go of an arduous week, an injured heart or a loss, to feel the relief of a smile or immersion of laughter. Being okay. Knowing that it’s okay”.
“Bottling up those times like sunshine and trying to keep it alive through the tough periods. It’s also about being scared, fearful, apprehensive, unsure about doing things you haven’t done before, maybe even things that feel out of the ordinary to your normality.”
