Today, Celtic folk singer-songwriter Scott Candlish introduces us to his sophomore EP, the gorgeous Home Away From Home.

As hinted at by its title, the record deals with the struggle to find comfort among the isolation when you’re dropped in a foreign environment, tackling those themes through dulcet acoustic singalongs dripping with melancholy.

Having spent much of 2016 nestled away in the studio recording, Scott is about to launch into a tonne of live shows in support of his new gem, launching the record in Melbourne ahead of a UK tour and a handful of Scottish folk festival appearances.

If you’d love to hear this one live, get down to The Workers Club on February 23 for the launch, where Scott will be joined by a full live band, as well as alt-country outfit The Hunter Express, young folk duo Wolf and Willow, and the “flamenco metal” of Citrus Jam.
