The members of Prophets of Rage, the supergroup comprised of members of Rage Against the Machine, Cypress Hill’s B Real, and Chuck D of Public Enemy, have teased the possibility of a Rage reunion at their upcoming shows.

Bassist Tim Commerford and B Real participated in a Reddit AMA session yesterday, during which Commerford explained that Rage frontman Zack de la Rocha is totally on board with Prophets of Rage and suggested he may even make an appearance.

“I know that Chuck [D] and B [Real] and myself have been spending some time reaching out to Zack and letting him know what’s going on and it feels really good to not feel like he’s not in the loop on everything that we do,” he said.

“I know that when I spoke to him he was very positive about how cool he knew it was gonna be, the Prophets of Rage… and how exciting it was going to be. If I were a fan of Rage Against The Machine, I would definitely show up to the shows because you might miss something.”

As for taking the Prophets of Rage revolution out of North America, Commerford said there are “definitely” plans for a tour outside of the US. “This is not a North American band, this is a world band. We’re going to dominate the world,” he said.

Last time we checked, Australia was part of the world, so let’s keep our fingers crossed.
