This is an awkward one.

KRS-One is one of the most legendary rappers of our time, and the idea of him releasing a tribute to deceased hip hop artists is a touching one – except for the little fact that he name-checked the wrong Beastie Boy.

“Like a late fog in the mist, I see King Ad-Rock. And rest in peace Nate Dogg, their names and their natures will last,” he raps about the very much alive Ad-Rock. Obviously KRS-One was referring to the late Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch, who passed away in 2012.

The error need not be a permanent one – as Kanye has shown with his own living document of an album The Life Of Pablo, it’s never too late to jump in and make changes, even if the record is already out there.
