Following the tragic shooting deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castille in the US, Melbourne emcees Baro and Remi have teamed up to drop a fiery protest song entitled ‘Fuck The Judge’.

“This is horrible man. What else is horrible is that I see people are trying to justifying these killings,” Baro wrote about the Sterling case. “So. If you’re not in support of the ones being slaughtered and oppressed, please shut your fucking mouth.”

Included with the track was artwork featuring a note that reads, “Rest in paradise all people of colour who have had their lives cut short in the hands of authorities.”

Many Australian musicians have spoken out about the Sterling and Castille killings, including fellow rapper Seth Sentry, who wrote on Twitter, “I can’t get the image of Alton Sterling dying on the ground out of my head. Why don’t they rush to help him? How can they justify murder?”
