All the signs pointed to ‘yes’, and now it’s been confirmed that Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters will be heading to Australia for his first Aussie tour since he visited with ‘The Wall Live’ in 2012.

The English rock legend recently released his fifth studio album, and first in 25 years, Is This The Life We Really Want?, and now he’ll be bringing his phenomenal live show to our shores for six dates in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in February.

Roger Waters will be bringing his recent solo work, and potentially a few cuts from his previous solo albums too, as well as his iconic Pink Floyd discography, with the production promising to live up to the standards we’ve come to expect after years of flying pigs.

This elaborate staging landed Roger Waters in trouble recently, as his relentless mocking of Donald Trump on the video screens during his performance of ‘Pigs (Three Different Ones)’ lead to miffed Trump supporters booing and walking out.

Some argued that Waters’ fierce rebuke of the U.S. President went a little too far, hammering home its point pretty bluntly by depicting “Trump as a baby, being held aloft by Russian President Vladimir Putin” and “Trump as a statue with an exceptionally small penis”, accompanied by many of his famously misguided quotes. The screens then shone out with the words “Trump is a pig” as Pink Floyd mega-hit ‘Money’ kicked in.

So, we’ll probably have plenty to look forward to when Roger Waters hits Australia next year – check out the dates and ticket details below.
