In what appears to be a fairly clear cut case, Run-D.M.C. have filed a $50M claim against Walmart, Amazon and numerous other retailers for trademark infringement.

Darryl ‘D.M.C’ McDaniels, and the Run-D.M.C. Brand claim these companies have been “advertising, selling, manufacturing, promoting, and distributing multiple products claiming to be Run-D.M.C. styled products.” They claim the intent is to “confuse the public as to the source of the product.”

There are a number of items included in the suit, such as glasses, hats, wallets and tees. While the style of the glasses might be up for debate, there is no question that the below items infringe upon the Run-D.M.C Brand trademark.

They are seeking $50 million, plus “any other relief this Court deems just and equitable.”

Check out a few of the allegedly infringing items below.
