Ryan Adams could be set for his first ARIA #1 album this week, unless the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack outsells it, dominating the #1 position for another week.

Adams announced an Australian tour a few weeks ago, which no doubt bolstered first-week and pre-sales for his album, Prisoner. Plus, it is an excellent album – which also helps.

Busby Marou are also looking set to debut in the top 5 this week, with their album Postcards From The Shell House enjoying strong first-week sales.

The Wiggles Nursery Rhymes should debut comfortably in the top 20 this week: more proof that the kids control the charts, although having said that, greatest hits sets from both Cold Chisel and Midnight Oil will jump considerably in this week’s chart, both re-entering the top 40.
