San Cisco have returned in a big way with the release of the lead single off their forthcoming third LP, The Water.
‘Hey, Did I Do You Wrong’ is a breezy summer anthem with a clip to match, showing the four-piece lazily drinking beers, playing music, hitting the open road, and wasting the afternoon by the beach in their hometown of Fremantle.
The tune has a widescreen Australian sound reminiscent of The Triffids, The Go-Betweens and Paul Kelly. And like those acts, the laidback vibe is undercut by searching lyrics that ponder whether or not a relationship has run its course.
