Original Gangsta Snoop Dogg is having trouble getting a gig these days. He will be making his Glastonbury debut this weekend after being banned from the UK since 2007 after getting into a scuffle at Heathrow Airport in 2006 and then running into visa problems in Australia. Now he’s been banned from playing a festival in The Hague in the Netherlands. He was due to play the Park Pop festival in the Dutch capital this weekend as well, but the mayor and police asked its organisers to source an artist of more “open and friendly character” to play the gig. Poor Snoop – to think he was looking forward to getting his hands on some massive spliffs while there as well.
