Making the trip over from Splendour The Grass are Icelandic folk collective Of Monsters And Men, synthpop stunners Passion Pit, and scuzzy garage punks FIDLAR, joined by the impressive domestic selection of Chet Faker, Snakadaktal, The Jungle Giants, and Dune Rats, who will all be playing the main stage at  Thebarton Theatre on Friday 5th August.

Ensuring minimal clashes, all the electronic and dance acts and DJs will be playing the second stage, presented by Spin Off’s newly announced sponsors, Sailor Jerry; the likes of Joe Andrew, Sno Drop, and I OH YOU DJs will be keep the party going while offering ice cold Sailor Jerry and dry at the nautical themed bar.

Following from scoring the penultimate spot on Triple J’s Hottest 100 this year, as well as landing the #1 spot on the ARIA Album Charts for their debut album,  My Head Is An AnimalOf Monsters And Men are enthusiastic to be headlining Spin Off.

As Ragnar “Raggi” Þórhallsson told Tone Deaf in a recent interview, “oh we’re very excited. We really like Australia, and Australians! They’re really nice.” Of Monsters And Men are topping the bill as part of their almost completely sold out Australian Tour, playing as the last band on the main stage.

Playing before the Icelandic group will be Passion Pit, playing an hour set, as well as sets from soultronica sensation Chet Faker, fellow Aussie mavericks Dune Rats, Brisbane’s The Jungle Giants, and Unearthed High winners Snakadaktal, as well as LA punks FIDLAR.
