Having posted up a lineup boasting the likes of QOTSA, The xx and LCD Soundsystem, it only took around half an hour for Splendour in the Grass to sell out this morning, with plenty of hopeful punters still hanging for tickets.

Having gone on sale at 9am, it didn’t take long for the three-day passes to be pinched, even at almost $400 bucks a pop, and the single day passes disappeared moments afterward – but would-be attendees are still in with a crack at scoring tix.

Official ticket outlet Moshtix will be allowing passes to be resold through its Splendour Resale facility, which will open at 9am on Monday May 8 and allow anyone who no longer wants to attend, or is no longer able to, to flog their tickets to some other lucky people.

Importantly, all tickets will be offered at cost price, unlike certain other resale sites that allow a ridiculous markup. Anyone who gets a chance to buy resale tickets will be able to grab up to four at once, so some tough decisions might have to be made among groups of mates.

There’s a waitlist up already, so you’ll want to head over there ASAP and put your name down if you want to be in with a shot.
