One of Australia’s biggest dance and electronic festivals will be returning this November, kicking off in Sydney before snaking its way across the country, including splitting the festival on the 1st December for both Melbourne and Adelaide, wrapping up the next day in Brisbane, Stereosonic has just announces its official lineup for 2012.

Following on from a sell-out season for 2011 (in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide) with headliners LMFAO and Amand Van Buren, this year’s bill already promises to look bigger and better with this morning’s announcement that Tiësto, the world’s highest-earning DJ, will be topping the lineup along with Sweden deck-master Avicii, Scottish dance star Calvin Harris and techno Brit Carl Cox.

Joining the electronic superstars will be mixmaster Diplo, and his dancehall side-project with Switch, Major Lazer. Along with Martin Solveig, Dash Berlin, Infected Mushroom and dubstep kings Example and Flux Pavillion.

You can read the full line-up below along with the festival dates and tickets go on sale on the 2nd August at 9am, last year the Sydney event had to be upgraded due to high demands with an attendance of over 60,000 – so you’ll probably need to get in fast. Full details available through the Stereosonic website.
