Corey Taylor’s Stone Sour have a new album Hydrograd on the way next month, and Australia is scoring a tour as well, with the band heading here for the first time since their appearance at Soundwave back in 2013, and the tour with Linkin Park that accompanied it.

The band are currently touring around the US with Korn, but will then be playing a couple of select East Coast dates in Oz, taking in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane at the end of August.

They’ve already given us the first glimpses of the next record with ‘Fabuless’ and ‘Song 3’, and fans will have plenty of time between its June 30 release and the tour to memorise a new bunch of lyrics.

Pre-sale opens up to Telstra customers on Monday May 15 at 9am, while the general sale starts at 10am on Friday May 19 – dates are below.
