Back in November, Metallica performed their first ever BBC Session in support of their latest album Hardwired… To Self Destruct, a record which has seen the band return to their thrash metal roots – and score yet another #1 album for their efforts. The entire thing has now been made available online, for your streaming pleasure.

The band perform five songs during the session: the record’s three singles: ‘Atlas, Rise’, ‘Moth Into Flame’ and ‘Hardwired’, as well as more familiar cuts ‘Harvester Of Sorrow’ and ‘Enter Sandman’.

In addition, James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich sat down for an interview, which is spliced in between the songs.
