One of the greatest opportunities have just landed in the lap of Melbourne’s adored Vance Joy, who has been announced as the support act for Taylor Swift on her epic tour of 2015.

Already confirmed to tour with Taylor on the North American leg of The 1989 World Tour, this latest announcement caps off a massive 18 months for Melbourne born Vance Joy.  Kicking off the year with the #1 song in Triple J’s Hottest 100 with ‘Riptide’, debuting at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart with ‘Dream Your Life Away’, selling 5 x Platinum for single ‘Riptide’ and Gold for ‘Mess Is Mine’, new single ‘First Time’ continues to showcase Joy’s versatility as an artist.

We’re so stoked that the dreamy-folk tunes will be exposed to a whole new world of fans.

Fresh from selling four million copies worldwide of latest album 1989, global superstar Taylor Swift has confirmed the Australian leg of her massive The 1989 World Tour will visit Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne in November/December 2015.

Notably, Swift will be the first female solo artist to play stadiums on back-to-back Australian tours, following the hugely successful The Red Tour of summer 2014, which garnered high praise from fans and critics alike.

With over 30 million albums sold and seven Grammy Awards to her name, Swift is one of the world’s most celebrated artists and the 1989 era is her biggest yet. Countless records have been made and broken by the 24-year-old international superstar since the release of her fifth, and most celebrated, studio album 1989.

This tour is going to be huge, tickets are on sale December 12.
