The Avalanches are set to drop their very eagerly anticipated new album, Wildflower, next month, finally gifting us with a follow-up to their legendary 2000 debut Since I Left You.

The album is set to drop Friday, 8th July and we’ve already heard a taste of the record in the form of the bouncy ‘Frankie Sinatra’, a collaboration with Danny Brown and MF Doom.

Now, the iconic Aussie plunderphonics group have unveiled another cut from the album, the hazy and dreamy ‘Colours’, which features vocals from Jonathan Donahue of Mercury Rev.

According to triple j, the album actually doesn’t feature any samples and serves as a throwback to the Avalanches’ time as a live band, though it still has a definite sound collage vibe to it.
