The Rubens are on one of the biggest rolls of any Australian band in recent memory. Having topped this year’s triple j Hottest 100, their winning single ‘Hoops’ recently went Platinum, and now the band are celebrating with their biggest tour to date.

This national tour, which the band just announced via Facebook, will see The Rubens playing their biggest headline shows yet in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne in massive arena venues like Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena and Sydney’s famous Hordern Pavilion.

These shows will be celebrations of all that’s good and happening in the Australian music scene right now. Joining The Rubens for these highly anticipated shows will be Mansionair, Slum Sociable, and in Sydney and Melbourne only, Ali Barter.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2012 with their Platinum-certified self-titled debut, the Menangle-bred rockers have grown into one of Australia’s favourite bands, a reputation that’s only sure to grow with this upcoming tour.
