Why? One genre of music we just can’t get enough of soul, and when there’s such incredible soul-pop outfits like Brisbane’s Inigo, it’s no surprise why. This Friday night the party of seven are launching their music video for the feel good tune ‘Constant Beat’, and it’s promising to be a damn good night. The band have got Neighbour and Mahalia Simpson.

Dianas

Why? Hell yeah, one of the best local gigs we encourage anyone in the wild West to check out this weekend is Dianas. The two-piece creative a wondrous soundscape of dreampop and shoegaze, paired beautifully with enchanting, celestial vocals. The duo are near completing their record, and are stoked to reveal their new single, ‘Good Enough Girl’. They’ll be joined by Rat Columns and Cold Meat – and it’s only five clams. A no brainer.

Food Court

Why? One of Australia’s most exciting up-and-coming indie skuzz rockers, Food Court, are hitting Newtown this Saturday night. The four-piece, responsible for the infectious tune ‘On The River‘ are renown for their high energy performances and have become a local favourite on the touring scene. The Hard Aches
