Heymann brings with him over twenty years of experience in the music industry, from both local and international markets. He has also been the Director and Owner of music label, management and consultancy company themusicconnection, and Program Director of Intertainment Management at the Australian Institute Of Music (AIM).

Throughout his career, Heymann has worked with some of the biggest artists in the world including Michael Jackson, Jamiroquai, The Fugees, Rammstein, Led Zeppelin, and Aerosmith, as well as local heavy-weights Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Kylie Minogue, Icehouse,  Split Enz, The Ten Tenors, COG, Tina Arena and Trial Kennedy, to name a few.

Deezer launched in Australia on April 12 this year, with a catalogue of 18 million tracks – more than any other streaming service in world.
