After years of rumours about an Aussie edition, Ultra Music Festival announced earlier this year that it was set to expand to Australia in 2018. Now, the festival has dropped a stellar lineup of electronic talent for their debut Aussie appearance.

Since its 1999 inception, Ultra Music Festival has been held yearly in Miami, Florida, becoming synonymous with the electronic music genre ever since. Beginning in 2007, the festival started to branch out internationally, first heading to Ibiza, then heading to almost everywhere else in the world, except for Australia. Until now.

Back in July, Ultra Music Festival announced it was planning to head to Australia on February 24th, hitting up Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl for what is set to be a brilliant day for fans of the genre. Now, the festival has done us all a solid and dropped its absolutely brilliant lineup.

Headlined by the likes of Dutch DJ Afrojack, and Sweden’s Axwell Λ Ingrosso, the festival is also set to see spots from other huge names like Carnage, Andrew Rayel, DJ moe, and KSHMR

Dubbed ‘Road To Ultra Australia’, the fest has also named a number of locals for the stacked lineup too, including Will Sparks, Timmy Trumpet, and Tigerlily, who has been named Australia’s number one female DJ three years running.

It’s all set to go down on February 24th at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Tickets are on sale now and selling fast, so make sure you secure your ticket soon, and before you know it you’ll be seeing some of the best electronic acts that the genre has to offer.
