Perth outfit Tired Lion lead the WAMAwards 2016 nominations, which were officially announced today. The ‘I Don’t Think You Like Me’ rockers scored a total of six nominations, including in the Best Pop Act, Best Rock Act, and Best Single categories.

Koi Child are next in line with their five nominations, whilst psychedelic garage outfit Hideous Sun Demon, Australiana rockers Verge Collection, and post-punky mavericks Rag n’ Bone have managed to pick up four nominations each.

The official WAMAwards Party will take place Thursday, 3rd November at the Claremont Showgrounds and will feature performances from Lucy Peach, Phil Walley-Stack, and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, plus after party performances from Soukouss Internationale, and more.
