Whispers of an OG blink-182 constantly plague social media, with fans of the legendary pop punk act often settling on the sad reality that it may just never occur. With Tom DeLonge preoccupied with extraterrestrial life forms and Matt Skiba taking over guitar and vocal activity, the days of the Mark, Tom and Travis show seem further and further away with every California re-issue.

Travis Barker has never been one to keep quiet in the blink off-season and has taken to SnapChat to reveal just what he’s up to in the studio. Fans were quick to point out that hanging on the wall, was none other than Tom DeLonge’s signature guitar, an ES-333 – take a look for yourself.

Although in the last few days it seems Tom has made leaps and bounds in his pursuit for alien existence, revealing that he and the US Government had released ‘official’ UFO footage, recording with Travis doesn’t sound too far-fetched.

Tom DeLonge took to Instagram last week to reveal that he and Travis were talking, posting in a caption, “So Travis calls me and asks me to do an interview… next thing I know all these cameras have invaded my office. And yes Blinkies, we also talked a bit about other stuff”, eliciting impassioned responses from fans speculating Tom’s potential involvement in blink again. Back in May, it was also speculated that Travis and Tom were in talks of reviving Boxcar Racer.
