A TZU Australian tour has been announced for 2012 that will see TZU tour Australia throughout April to June this year.

Australia’s own genre-defying trend-setters, TZU, are getting ready to wow us with their striking new single ‘Beginning of the End’, which is due for release on April 2.  And if this isn’t enough good news for you on a Monday afternoon, there’s even a big national tour to boot.

The new single ‘Beginning of the End’, is, to put it very simply, about The End.  It sees the band at their finest, seamlessly merging genres and sounds, whilst tackling current global issues head on to create a glorious alternative pop statement.  Following the single release, TZU will release Album #4 in the second half of 2012, a collection of original and charismatic tunes that will see them delve further into the electronic direction they explored on Computer Love and ensure they stay two steps ahead of the rapidly expanding pack.

The band’s last album, the bulk-ace Computer Love was a Triple J feature and saw them nominated for the AMP shortlist and the J Award Album of the Year, along with anAPRA for Best Hip-Hop Artist.

The just-announced tour will see the boys tour the nation extensively, showcasing new material along with many TZU classics, throughout May and June. No strangers to the touring arena, TZU always deliver live, and have played all of the major Australian music festivals over the years, including Falls, Meredith, Big Day Out and Pyramid Rock to name but a few.

As well as working on new material for the album, the boys have been busy doing all sorts of wonderful things since we last heard from them, like smelling the roses, making babies and travelling the world (or at least trying to).

Now back in action as TZU, the boys have pitted all of their formidable talents together to bring you their new (musical) baby.  So get up with the new TZU single ‘Beginning of the End’ and then get down at their shows.

New single and show tickets both on sale Monday April 2.
