Vince Staples’ 2015 hit ‘Norf Norf’ famously began with the line “Bitch, you thirsty, please grab a Sprite,” to the enjoyment of music fans and and soft drink aficionados everywhere. Now, Sprite has tapped the young rapper as the current spokesman of their TV ad campaign.

As Pitchfork reports, the campaign is part of a new can design by the soft drink in which rap lyrics are printed along the side of the cans. To celebrate the inclusion of Staples’ lyrics on cans (minus the word ‘bitch’), Staples has appeared in the brand’s newest television commercial, attempting to sell Sprite to ‘random teenagers’.

The commercial features a nonchalant Staples manning a booth at a local carnival when some kids approach him, whom he of course greets by saying “Hello, random teenager,” as everyone does. After being asked whether he indeed Vince Staples, the campaign dissolves into ‘self-aware’ territory, with Staples pointing out the advertising features of the campaign, in a rather humorous manner.
